Success is just a pile of failures, and so is your personal style

One thing I’ve noticed about millennials is that no matter how many times we’ve hit rock bottom, we always get up and try again. Obviously, while we are there, we will collect a few rocks to add to our collection, and then come up with a few hilarious (read deeply traumatic) stories for our friends.
Again, again, and again.

If you can relate, congratulations, I’m sure you’ve successfully survived many Jumanji levels so far and have a great rock collection. For the rest, welcome to the topic of today:
Success is just a pile of failures.
Every time you fail, you have to dwell for about 5 minutes, then get back to the game like the gangster you are (also a great quality of many millennials). Yes, you are still a gangster if you are in bed by 9 pm, drink tea, and have developed social anxiety over the years (or whichever thing suits you best, choose your fighter, and all that).
And that’s a superpower right there. Your superpower.
Start all over again and again. I’ve done it personally too many times. And still collecting failures and occasionally some rocks from the rock bottom trips.

And there is clearly nothing shameful about that. The only thing you should consider food for thought, however, is when you are failing, you are coming back, and do teh same thing all over again. Same actions lead to the same results.
I see it daily with some of my acquaintances and clients. Yes, I mean when they run back to their exes and buy the same clothes but expect different results, because they saved a few interesting Pinterest pins to their “Outfit ideas”.
Usually, acquaintances leave their exes yet again, and those outfit ideas remain just that. Ideas.
The cycle continues. Comfort zone was never about the actual comfort that you envision for yourself, but a toxic circle that seems more like a maze for a 5-year-old, yet your grown forehead can’t see the way out. At this big age. Come on.
You can do better. And yes, I will always tell you to leave that toxic ex. AND help you out when it comes to your personal style.
Though when it comes to your personal style, we will take it a step further. I will not just blindly tell you what to buy and basically copy and paste those “Outfit ideas” you got saved. Instead, just like a therapist, I hope you have, I will guide you to figure out what YOU like. Not what’s trendy, not what’s basic, but what speaks to you and will eventually translate your inner world to the world. And yes, just like your therapist, I do have a psychology degree.
Took me some time to figure out why I used to dress the way I did back in the day, and in each country I lived in. Till this day, if you know me well, you can tell my mood by my clothes of the day.
My goal is to get you opened up and answer to me (but mostly to yourself) how you want to express yourself. What brings you joy?
Is it the pink colour and those little cutie charms that remind you of your childhood?
Is it texture, structure, and silhouette?
Is it classic outfits that make you feel polished and put together?
Or is it totally stylish anarchy mixed with only your vision?
The beauty is, it is never just one. It is usually 2-3 characters united in you, and it is always beyond beautiful. Because it is never boring, it will never feel like a costume.
I love my job, and I say it often. But it’s not just because I basically get to play real Barbies when I am on set or working with people 1:1, but because I get to unlock so many individuals on so many levels.
Yes, I base my analysis on 5 main inner characters that we all have (similar to love languages and stuff), but there is so much more that goes into the process of every persona, every brand, that being the one who discovers it and finally helping make you make sense is the high I will chase forever.
We all need a little help sometimes. So when you are ready to get my help, just book a call.
Doesn’t matter where you’ve started; what’s important is your journey, the final mission, and who is by your side on that journey.
